On April 12, months of preparation will be put to the test at the 6th annual Clean Energy Trust Challenge – the Midwest’s most highly acclaimed clean energy accelerator program hosted by the Clean Energy Trust (CET). For the past two months, local start-up, Innova EV, has been gearing up for the moment when they’ll get to present their business plan to top cleantech industry investors and venture capitalists. For the second year in a row, CET will be awarding up to $1 million in funding to Clean Energy Trust Challenge finalists including Innova EV.
“Our experience with the Clean Energy Trust and our mentors has been invaluable,” said Roman Kuropas, Founder, Chairman and CEO of Innova EV. “It’s been an intense two months and we feel confident in ourselves and our business pitch. We’re ready to get in front of the judges and the audience and hopefully win the most amount of funding to help us continue to expand our business and take our product to market.”
Innova EV will compete against 13 other top cleantech startups from across the Midwest specializing in the energy storage, biomass, smart buildings and devices, advanced transportation and fuel efficiency, alternative fuels, wind energy, solar energy and thermal storage industries.
The Clean Energy Trust Challenge will take place on April 12, 2016 at Venue SIX10 at the Spertus Institute located at 610 South Michigan Avenue Chicago, IL 60605. Tickets are available for purchase at https://cetchallenge2016.eventbrite.com. Come join us!
